Fees
We aim to keep fee levels as low as possible. Current termly school fees, with effect from September 2012, are as follows:
- Day pupils £5,170
- Flexi boarders: £6,200*
- Weekly boarders: £8,040
- Full boarders: £8,040
*Parents may choose the defined status of Flexi-boarding for which a termly fee is payable in advance and entitles the pupil to stay in a boarding house up to a maximum of two nights per week.
Fees include the provision of most text and exercise books, meals, facilities for games and most activities. Other costs incurred by the pupil or the school on the pupil’s behalf will be charged as extras. Fees and extras are subject to periodical increase.
We are able to offer remissions on fees through our Scholarships/Awards programme or through Bursaries. Please see the relevant section of the website.
There are a number of advantages of such a scheme which, depending upon individual tax circumstances, can include:
- The initial discount in the fee rate given;
- Estate planning/Inheritance Tax planning ;
- Potential income tax savings (the discounts are not usually taxable).
