Activities-Societies-Hobbies (ASH)
Our ASH programme is run by Mr. Graham Tattersall and is aimed at those pupils below the Sixth Form. Timetabled for an hour and twenty minutes per week its intention is to provide your child with experience of a hobby that may later become an especial interest.
The activities vary to ensure diversity but have been known to include, for example:
- Trampolining
- Cooking
- Scuba Diving
- Archery
- Fencing
- Chess
- Bee Keeping
- Canoeing / Kayaking
- Clay Pigeon Shooting
- Girls’ Football
- Rocket Club
- Yoga
- Water Polo
- War Gaming
- Dance
- Golf
- Sailing
A programme of lectures and activities, open to all, further broadens horizons and encourages participation wherever possible. A fine recent example of this is the drama workshop and presentation by the Mashirika group focusing on the Rwandan Genocide.
